PROFESSIONAL PET STAIN AND ODOR REMOVAL CHERRY HILL

Having a pet is not an easy task. This implies a numbers of various activities such as feeding, playing with it, loving it and, what is more important, cleaning after it. You can even say that having a pet is a half time job that involves taking care of your family and house. And if you have a high number of carpets, then you might get in trouble.

Carpets

All the carpets tend to wear out in time. Colors fade, texture looks torn and dirt gets into the layers. In order to prevent this, many people take their shoes off before walking on the carpet. This protects the carpet from getting dirty and becoming unattractive. But what do you do with animals? I don't think they can be trained to wipe their paws before entering the house. However, you don't need to worry because I am going to provide you a few useful tips that can save your time, your efforts and your carpets.

Vacuuming

This is the first thing you need to do. And do it periodically! Normally you should vacuum your carpets once per week in order to prevent the impregnation of dirt in the carpet's fibers. However when we are talking about a pet in the house, consider vacuuming 2 or 3 times per week. Try doing it as often as possible because you will remove more hair and dirt produced by the pets. Don't forget about the tile or wood floors because if you ignore them, dirt will go from one part to the other, making it even harder to clean. If you manage to do this not only will you keep dirt and other factors to a minimum, but you will also prevent certain allergens from developing.

Urine

This is the magic word that breaks hearts among pet owners. What do you do when your pet urinates on your carpet? Take a deep breath and try to act as fast as you can. Remove the urine while it is still wet because you will probably have greater chances to get all the urine out and avoid smells or stains. So, if you notice your pet doing that weird face, but it is too late to get it out, get your stash of paper towels and newspapers and place them on the urine. Put a weight on it and the paper will absorb the urine from the carpet as much as it can. Afterwards just let it there for a while and when you are done, put it in the litter for training.

Use home-made cleaning solutions

A recipe that will never fail you is to mix together three parts water and one part vinegar. With this solution do the same as before: put the solution on the stain and let it there for a couple of minutes. Just don't scrub the stain (or else you will spread it) and use some dry towels in the operation. Once you have done this, you can put some baking soda on it and try vacuuming it later (after a few hours).
